The Trend Tribe Hits Vegas
Who doesn’t love a weekend in Las Vegas? Raise your hand if you have your own fond memories from some crazy Vegas experiences. Of course some we’d like to forget and others we never want to forget. Last weekend the ladies of The Trend Tribe hit Vegas for our inaugural Influencer weekend. It was amazing and definitely one I’ll always remember. High-end restaurants with exquisite food, beauty makeovers, personal shopping, luxury accommodation, all with an incredible group of women. Seriously, what’s not to love?
The fun kicked off Friday afternoon at Neiman Marcus in the Fashion Show Mall where we got our make-up done at Tom Ford. I’m not one who usually wears much make-up so I always find myself a tad nervous wondering if I’m going to look like Magda in “Something About Mary” afterwards. Thankfully my experience was quite the opposite. The lovely Denise did a wonderful job making me pretty for our first GNO but you still could recognize me, which is a good thing. I even spoiled myself and purchased a couple cosmetic treats.
Next up was Topshop for our own personal shopping experience! Now, I have to admit when I usually go into Topshop I find myself feeling overwhelmed which leads to my own impatience which leads to me leaving the store. So the Topshop Personal Shopping idea was right up my alley. They assist you in finding specific items based off your style, body type and preferences. Our group had the pleasure of enjoying some delicious cookies and cupcakes with a little bubbly to top it off. How fun! You can find Topshop in the U.S. in Las Vegas, New York and Chicago with their newest location in Southern California coming soon.
We headed back to the luxurious Aria Resort and Casino where we were staying for the weekend. If you haven’t experienced the Aria you MUST stay there during your next trip to Vegas! It’s a perfect combination of sophistication, luxury and class with some of the most beautiful rooms and suites I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the amazing dining options at Aria that I’ll tell you about now. Just a warning, you may drool!
Our first stop of the evening was Sirio Ristorante. I’m a sucker for Italian food and Sirio was no exception. It’s a combination of traditional and modern Italian cuisine. We enjoyed the ravioili with sage butter sauce and Pici Toscana with a ragu meat sauce. Both melted in my mouth and were delicious. Their tasty Capriccio cocktail was our first drink of the evening. We were lucky enough to be given a tour of the huge antipasto kitchen which was very impressive. I could have set up camp there at the antipasto kitchen. The lovely Lala shares more details from our Italian experience at Sirio on The Trend Tribe.
Moving from Italian to steaks our next stop was Jean Georges Steakhouse. I’d describe it as a modern, classy steakhouse with a very cool vibe to it. Dim lights, great decor and groovy tunes created a perfect dinner environment. Our cocktail of choice was the fabulous Orange Edlerflower Cosmpolitan. They were so yummy I had two! The food was wonderful and a good variety. The sushi platter, flaming steak fajitas and truffle mac & cheese were my three favorites of the evening. Wow. After we ate we waddled along for a tour of the chef’s dining room which was simply gorgeous then onto the very busy kitchen where all the magic was happening. I’d definitely go back and would love to take the hubby back to Jean Georges. Read more juicy details about our dining experience at Jean Georges on The Trend Tribe.
Our last foodie stop of the evening was the impressive Sage! This restaurant and bar is full of unique cocktail concoctions and culinary surprises. At our high-top table right in the middle of the action we enjoyed a variety of impressive small dishes including some mouth-watering oysters, scallops, a scrumptious pork dish and more. Sage is known for its one-of-a-kind drink selection including their Pink Lemonade and Moscow Mule both presented in the most creative fashion. If you’re an absinthe fan you can choose from one of their TEN absinthe choices. Our host Robert made our experience at Sage even more fun catering to our every whim.
Our final stop of the night was at the absolutely fabulous Kiki de Montparnasse in CityCenter. Ladies, if you’re in Vegas this is a MUST DO! If you skip everything else just make sure you go to Kikis. This is the ultimate GNO spot or a fun one to experience with your special someone. I’d say it was the highlight of the night. Romance meets intimacy at this luxury boutique where you will find everything from beautiful lingerie to sensual soaps, candles and beyond. The lovely ladies hosting our private party shared many of the treasures in the boutique with us and let’s just say there was a lot of giggling and blushing going on! Rest assured your personal experience is a very private one and all class which I loved. Their flagship boutiques are located in Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles. They do sell online also. We had an absolute ball having girly fun during our time at Kikis. If you read and loved “Fifty Shades of Grey” then get to Kiki de Montparnasse pronto!
With very sore feetsies we made our way back to the spectacular Aria SkySuites for a little slumber party complete with pretty, pretty Marigot pajamas. There just may have been a pillow fight or two! Jealous?
A huge thank you to Aria, Tom Ford at Neiman Marcus, Topshop, Sirio Ristorante, Jean Georges, Sage and Kiki de Montparnasse for making our night so wonderful!
